Youth Sailing Day -- May 15
Come join in the fun and put a smile on the faces of young would be sailors in a day of sailing with the children and their mentors.
Triton Yacht Club proudly sponsors this worthy annual event, in conjunction with Committed Partners for Youth, which provides a unique opportunity for young people to enjoy something they would likely not experience without the generosity and goodwill of the Fern Ridge sailing community and the generous donations provided by the sponsors listed below.
Skippers, in exchange for your time and your boat for the day, you get to see a smile on the youngsters' faces, create a positive, lifelong memory for them, and you even get lunch provided for you! Please, come out for the day and help make this most worthy event a success for the children in our community.
WHERE: Richardson Park & Marina, at the main shelter
WHEN: Saturday May 15
Noon: BBQ lunch (burgers, fixins, chips/cookies, drinks)
1:30: Sailing!

In your RSVP, please indicate what type of sailboat, how many child/mentor pairs you think you can safely take, and if you need any children's life jackets (we can help with that, if need be).
Generous donations benefitting all participants are provided as follows: Lunch (grilled burgers, fixings, chips, etc) is provided by Legacy Health Systems; Drinks are provided by DocuTRAK Imaging; the shelter is provided by Lane County Parks, two J24 sailboats and extra PFDs are provided by City of Eugene Recreation Services.
